CSR: Our Commitment to the Dakhla Community

Dakhla Aménagement's corporate social responsibility goes well beyond the production of quality cement. Since its creation, the company has been actively committed to the social and economic development of the Dakhla community. This CSR approach is structured around four pillars: local employment, vocational training, social actions and support for community initiatives.
Local employment is the priority of our CSR policy. Of the 35 direct jobs created by Dakhla Aménagement, more than 80% are held by residents of Dakhla and the Southern Provinces. Furthermore, our activity generates more than 350 indirect jobs in transport, distribution and associated services. Each job created in our factory leads to the creation of ten jobs in the local economy.
Vocational training is a pillar of our commitment. We offer practical internships for students from technical schools in Dakhla, industrial safety training for our employees, and awareness workshops on careers in the cement industry. Each year, we welcome about ten interns, several of whom are subsequently hired within our teams.
Our social actions include support for local schools, participation in national solidarity campaigns, and donations to charitable associations in the region. Dakhla Aménagement is also a partner of local authorities for the improvement of community infrastructure. Our conviction is deep: a prosperous company can only exist within a prosperous community.
