Dakhla is one of the few industrial cities in Morocco facing both the Atlantic and sub-Saharan Africa. DAM produces CPJ 45 and CPJ 55 cement there, compliant with Moroccan and European standards. This page explains honestly what already exists, what remains to be built, and how an African importer or distributor can start the discussion.
Current state, unambiguous: DAM delivers within Dakhla City (included, 48 h standard / 24 h express) and across the Dakhla region under agreed terms. No delivery outside Morocco is active to date. The markets presented below are prospects under study.
Dakhla’s position, at the crossroads of North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, makes it a natural logistics hub. Its deep-water port — currently being extended under the Southern Provinces Development Program — makes maritime loadings toward the African Atlantic coast conceivable without transit via Casablanca or Tangier. Nouadhibou, Mauritania’s leading port, lies some 350 km south; Dakar is a few sailing days further.
This asset is an opportunity, not an active service: maritime routing, customs formalities and the regulatory requirements of destination countries remain to be defined project by project.
Direct maritime access from Dakhla, without transit through northern ports.
Mauritania is the immediate neighbour of the Dakhla region.
Grinding capacity of the Lassargua plant — an industrial base to envision export volumes.
A foreign buyer assesses a supplier on verifiable grounds. Here is what is already documented and repeatable, without promising anything beyond:
CPJ 45 (CEM II/A-L 42.5) and CPJ 55 (CEM II/A 52.5), compliant with NM 10.1.004 and EN 197-1 — a designation foreign engineering offices familiar with European standards can read.
Every batch is lab-tested (2, 7 and 28-day strengths) and issued a test certificate — the documentary base international project owners require.
Palletized and wrapped 50 kg bags (1 T per pallet) and 1 T big bags, handled at the port; bulk would be a dedicated project (mobile silo).

We do not claim a country is accessible until logistics, regulation and commercial terms have been validated. Here is the study order geography dictates, and what remains open for each:
The immediate neighbour: about 350 km of coast separate Dakhla from Nouadhibou. Construction-materials demand there is driven by infrastructure and construction. Buyer languages: Arabic and French.
Open points: To qualify: maritime or road line, Guerguerat border transit, import regulation, payment terms.
A continuous coast south of Mauritania, growing construction markets and established maritime flows along the Atlantic. Buyer languages: French and English.
Open points: To qualify: real maritime costs and lead times from Dakhla, competition from established cement makers, local standards requirements.
More distant markets will only be addressed with evidence of logistics and economic feasibility. No country list will be published without real capacity to serve.
Open points: Criteria: maritime distance, documented demand, identified local partner, transport profitability.
Talking about export without these building blocks would be empty communication. Here are the open workstreams, as they face any starting producer:
No. Today DAM delivers within Dakhla City (included, 48 h standard / 24 h express) and across the Dakhla region under agreed terms. No delivery outside Morocco is active: the African markets mentioned on this page are under study, and each opening will be clearly announced in due time.
Documents already available: CPJ 45 / CPJ 55 technical data sheets (NM 10.1.004 / EN 197-1 designation, strengths, Blaine fineness, setting times), per-batch test certificate (2, 7 and 28-day tests) and certificate of conformity. Export-specific documents (certificates of origin, destination compliance, marine insurance) will be defined with our logistics partners once a market is engaged.
Packagings suited to maritime transport are the palletized 50 kg bag (wrapped, 20 bags per one-tonne pallet) and the one-tonne big bag, handled at the port by crane or forklift. Bulk requires dedicated means (portable silo or mobile installation) that belong to a specific project.
Contact our sales team at +212 658-265685 or through the quote form, stating your company, country, envisioned products and volumes. We study each project individually: volume availability, logistics, documents and terms. No commitment is made until both parties have fully validated it.
